Brzeg - hard place for trailers

So. We got there and the journey to get out of the train into a city centre took as the same amount of time as the journey to get to Brzeg from our home town! Not a trailer friendly train station, for sure.

First we waited for the right person to open the special gate for us. Waited... and waited. In the end the guy stated he is not able to open the gate and there is noone else to do that.

Then he figured out we could use the wheel chair lift (as seen on the picture). Well, good idea, but it would be better if it acctually worked! In the end we had to climb and hike our way out, only to find out that the enormous and heavy gates in the main building are too big for our trailer to pass through. Yeah! Luckily, they were quite easy to open... as for two young adults.

The only thing we had in mind was: imagine you are a wheel chair user yourself, travelling alone or even with an assistance...?!

It made us question if the idea of visiting that beautiful, must say, town is even worth considering?

How to take a nap

This is how the kids can take a nap in the trailer... Well, fair enough :)

PeaPod for two

In case you are wondering, we have a two-seater and it's NOT HARD to ride a bike with this attachement ;) Acctually, its easier than with a child seat on a bike! I totally recomend it to anybody interested in riding a bike with kids! Although, soon I will write a bit about some problems you may encounter while travelling.

Getting ready for harvest

Here are some shoots from our trip to Nysa, south of Poland. Great day, warm and sunny. Fields getting ready for harvest. Short off road section, amazing views, but not necessarily comfortable for kids... Its better to use regular paths.
